Vitamins

Vitamin B1 – Thiamine

Thiamine is an essential nutrient that all tissues of the body need to function properly. Thiamine was the first B vitamin that scientists discovered. This is why its name carries the number 1. Like the other B vitamins, thiamine is water-soluble and helps the body turn food into energy.

Vitamin B3 - Niacin

Niacin is one of eight water-soluble B vitamins. Niacin is a vitamin that acts as an antioxidant and plays a role in cell signalling and DNA repair. Deficiency is characterised by skin problems, dementia and diarrhoea.

Vitamin B6

Vitamin B6 is needed for healthy nervous and psychological function, helping to support the neurons transmitting messages around the brain.

Vitamin B12

Vitamin B12 is a nutrient that helps keep the body’s nerve and blood cells healthy and helps make DNA, the genetic material in all cells. Vitamin B12 also helps prevent a type of anaemia called megaloblastic anaemia that makes people tired and weak.

Pantothenic Acid

Vitamin B5, also called pantothenic acid, is one of the most important vitamins for human life. It’s necessary for making blood cells, and it helps you convert the food you eat into energy.  Vitamin B5 is one of eight B vitamins. All B vitamins help you convert the protein, carbohydrates, and fats you eat into energy.

Folic Acid

Folic acid helps your body produce and maintain new cells, and also helps prevent changes to DNA that may lead to cancer. As a medication, folic acid is used to treat folic acid deficiency and certain types of anaemia.

Biotin

Biotin is a water-soluble B-vitamin that helps your body convert food into energy. Biotin is important for the health of your hair, skin and nails.

Supplements

Taurine

Taurine is an amino acid that occurs in some animal-based foods and naturally in some of our body’s tissues. It makes up a large amount of the “free” amino acids that are circulating in the body instead of making up proteins. It contains sulphur, which makes it common in many of the body’s physiologic functions.

Caffeine

It works by stimulating the brain and central nervous system, helping you to stay alert and preventing the onset of tiredness.

Inositol

Inositol is a carbohydrate that is found naturally in your body and certain foods. It plays many roles in your body, including affecting levels of neurotransmitters and the way your body handles glucose. It may be effective in improving some anxiety disorders and your body's sensitivity to insulin.

Guarana Extract

Guarana is used for weight loss, to enhance athletic performance, as a stimulant, and to reduce mental and physical fatigue.

Many studies have shown that green tea extract can promote weight loss, blood sugar regulation, disease prevention and exercise recovery. It can also help keep your skin and liver healthy, reduce blood fat levels, regulate blood pressure and improve brain health.
